Biliana Mateva

Biliana is a working mom of two girls, ages 6 and 8, who attend Pierce school in Brookline. As any parent of young children knows, finding after school activities that fits with the work schedules is nearly impossible. Another nearly impossible feat - finding dance studios that offer variety of dance classes.  And this is how The Village Dance Studio came to be.  Situated in the midst of the quaint Brookline Village, the studio offers different styles of dance classes; as well as a variety of services designed to alleviate the busy lives of working parents: school picks-ups from nearby
schools, school vacation programs, full day programs, birthday parties, and more.

Biliana and her family have lived in Brookline Village for 10 years and they love it’s diversity, energy and culture. She is delighted to be able to add to the Village's rich tapestry of family-friendly businesses, and to be able to help kids get moving in a fun and safe way!
Kristina started her dance career in Ukraine. She graduated from Lviv National University with a major in  dance/choreography. She has participated in numerous performances as well as international competitions. After earning her bachelor's degree, Kristina continued her training in renowned schools in Europe, New York and Boston. Kristina also has an extensive experience of teaching kids at dance studios and summer camps. She enjoys many forms of dance including ballet, jazz, contemporary and hip-hop.

Musical theatre became Jackie's hobby at the age of 9, and by the time she was in high school, it was her passion! Her favorite musical theatre rolls she's had include Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, Charlotte in Charlotte's Web the Musical, and Ronnette in Little Shop of Horrors, and she is currently in the cast of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the Cohasset Dramatic Club (playing the role of the Baker/ ensemble). Her favorite on-screen roll she's played was in 2011 when she played the role of young Olivia in the inspirational film called Olivia.
Jackie’s knowledge of the art of Musical Theater is not only based on her vast experience but also on a number of classes that she has completed - she studied acting and directing in film, at Emerson College’s Pre-College Program; she also went on to attend acting and directing classes for both film and theatre at Suffolk University, in which she also participated in Variety Shows, Cabarets, and was an active member of Suffolk’s Show Choir.

Without any fitness and dance background, Agnes slowly but surely became obsessed with ZUMBA® ever since taking her first class in 2009. The passion for ZUMBA® grew steadily over the years, taking over more and more of Agnes' life, until it became so overpowering that she decided to take a next step and became an instructor. Agnes is excited to share her passion for ZUMBA® and active life. In her classes, she wants everyone to feel included, relaxed, connected, and a little silly! Agnes also recently became licensed to teach POUND®, which is another way to be active through music and fun. Agnes enjoys connecting with people through these fun fitness programs, and working together on a common goal of feeling good and strong.
She cannot wait to meet her new students!
